2020 MAES Scholarship Program

Requirements

Membership

Applicants must be MAES Student Members in good standing and registered at mymaes.org by the deadline date of October 16 2020.

Age

Applicant must be 18 years of age or older by the deadline stated above.

Citizenship

Scholarships are open to all MAES student members meeting the membership and scholarship criteria.

*scholarship application contains citizenship information in the event a sponsor requires funds be awarded to U.S. citizens but citizenship is not required for all other scholarships

Enrollment

  • Must be enrolled as a full time student for the upcoming 2020 fall semester/quarter.
  • Undergraduate student classification is twelve (12) credit hours.
  • Graduate student classification is nine (9) credit hours.
  • Students on internship/co-op must show proof of enrollment in the internship/co-op program.
  • Students enrolled in community colleges must be enrolled in transferable majors to an institution offering BS/BA Degrees.

Personal Statement

Letter of Recommendation

A letter of recommendation (from a professor or someone in academia) must be submitted by the application deadline

GPA/Transcript/Resume

Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0/4.0; provide an official College/University Transcript and a resume with the application.

Major

Must be pursuing a S.T.E.M. degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) at an accredited U.S. university or community college. *Medical sciences, nursing, and social sciences will not be considered.
