Science Extravaganza Grants

Overview

MAES Science Extravaganza is a one-day, hands-on academic enrichment experience for middle and high school students. Held all across the nation by MAES’ professional and student chapters, this event is ideal for sparking an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) among younger students. The event consists of workshops and activities presented by volunteer professionals, professors, and college students across a wide range of technical and scientific fields.

MAES Science Extravaganza Grants are available to all registered student chapters. The grants are made possible by the charitable contributions of partners, sponsors, exhibitors, professionals, and alumni. The grant partially covers the cost of hosting a Science Extravaganza.

Eligibility

  • Event Must be Hosted by a Registered Student Chapter
  • Student Chapter Must Attend Briefing at Symposium
  • Event Must Attract at Least 50 Attendees
  • Event Must Last at least 5 hours
  • Event Must be scheduled 3 Months in Advance
