Houston, Texas (September 12, 2012) MAES proudly announces the recipients of Registration Grants to attend MAES Symposium 2012.  These student members will receive a free registration to Symposium which includes access to all events and materials.  The winners will be recognized at the 38th Annual MAES Symposium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The recognitions will be presented on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at 12:30 pm during the Scholars’ Luncheon at the Riviera Hotel and Casino.

The Registration Grants Program is made possible by the support of MAES’ Industry Advisory Council (IAC), exhibitors, partners, members, alumni, and volunteers.  It is one of many unique opportunities made available to student members. This program is one of many to deliver on MAES’ commitment to increase the number of Latino scientists, technologists, engineers, and mathematicians who complete a college education and enter the professions.  There were a total of 283 applicants; of those, 43 will receive Registration Grants.
